If you have purchased a 6-Month Membership, you will automatically be registered for your regularly scheduled class in the next few days.

Important for members: If you cannot attend a class for which you are already registered, please cancel your registration through Eversports. This makes the spot available to another student and helps us keep our classes well organised.

Under Prices, you find all flexible and one-time booking options, as well as our Hop-In Memberships, which are not tied to a specific class.

All classes require a minimum of 4 participants to take place. If fewer than 4 participants are registered, the class will be cancelled 5 hours before the start.

FAQ

Yes. Many of our classes are suitable for complete beginners and no previous dance experience is required.

In most cases, new students can join throughout the year. Specific course requirements will be listed in the class schedule.

No – you are always welcome to sign up on your own. Our schedule shows whether a class is designed for partner dancing or solo dancing:

  • P = Partner Class
  • S = Solo Class

For Partner Classes, you do not need to bring your own partner. We regularly rotate partners during the class, which is encouraged and helps you develop your dancing with different people.

If there are more Leaders than Followers , or vice versa, our instructors will try to balance the group whenever possible. However, a Partner Class requires enough participants in both roles. In exceptional cases, the class may therefore need to be cancelled.

Come solo or with a partner – either way, you can join us.

Comfortable clothing that allows free movement is recommended. Specific requirements will be communicated for individual classes if necessary.

Our semester courses are designed to provide consistency and continuous progress. You learn in a regular group, allowing you to build your skills step by step in a supportive environment.

  • Regular classes in consistent groups
  • Clear and structured learning goals
  • Levels that build progressively on each other
  • Personal feedback from your instructor
  • Individual guidance and support
  • Beginner-friendly entry points

Your progress is built step by step. Throughout your classes, you will:

  • Build strong dance fundamentals
  • Develop technique and body awareness
  • Improve musicality and coordination
  • Learn new steps, figures and movements
  • Connect movements into combinations
  • Progress through repetition and personal feedback
  • Develop your own individual dance style
  • Build the skills and confidence to move on to the next level

Learn. Grow. Dance.
Every dancer progresses differently. Our goal is to give you the technique, confidence and support you need to enjoy your journey and keep moving forward.

Consistency is one of the most important factors in improving your dancing. Regular practice helps movements become more natural and gives you the opportunity to build continuously on what you have already learned.

  • One class per week provides a solid foundation for continuous learning
  • Regular attendance helps you build technique, confidence and muscle memory
  • Additional classes or practice sessions can accelerate your progress
  • The more consistently you train, the easier it becomes to connect technique, movement and musicality

Remember: progress looks different for every dancer. Focus on your own journey and enjoy the process.

Choose a class that interests you, join a regular session and experience the teaching style, atmosphere and level for yourself. You can participate fully in the class and, if you enjoy it, choose the membership or class package that suits you afterwards.

  • Adults: CHF 30
  • Kids & Teens: Free

Different teachers. Different cultures. New perspectives.

Throughout the year, we welcome guest teachers from different countries and dance backgrounds to Dance Cuban House. Our workshops give you the opportunity to discover new styles, techniques and approaches while learning from instructors with different experiences and areas of expertise.

We believe that every teacher has something unique to share. By learning from different dance cultures, training methods and perspectives, you can discover new techniques, details, tips and ideas to incorporate into your own dancing.

Longer workshops of three to four hours also offer something that a regular weekly class cannot: time to go deeper. You can focus intensively on your body, technique and movement and often experience noticeable progress within a single workshop.

But workshops are about more than training. They are also about community. Breaks give us time to connect, exchange ideas, meet other dancers and simply enjoy spending part of the day together.

Learn from each other. Inspire each other. Grow together.

6-Month Membership → You can catch up 6 missed classes during your membership period.

How does it work?
Catch-up classes must be taken in a different dance class. They cannot be used to extend or repeat your regularly booked class. You can attend your catch-up classes at any time while your membership is active. Any unused catch-up opportunities expire at the end of your 6-month membership period and cannot be carried over to a new membership.

Please check our class schedule on the website before attending a catch-up class.
You can join as long as there is still a spot available in the class you would like to attend.

You cannot register for the catch-up class through the website. Please send Damián a message via WhatsApp and let him know which class you would like to attend as your catch-up class.

This allows us to check availability and prevent classes from becoming overcrowded.

This policy applies to all Dance Cuban House students:
4 Class Card → You can catch up on up to 2 missed classes in the current or following month.
8 Class Card → You can catch up on up to 4 missed classes in the current or following month.

How does it work?
Catch-up classes can only be taken during the same month or the following month.
Catch-up classes must be taken in other dance classes. Your regularly booked class cannot be made up.

Please check our class schedule on the website before attending a catch-up class.
You can join as long as there is still a spot available in the class you would like to attend.

Please check the availability at least 24 hours before the class starts.

You cannot register for the catch-up class through the website. If there is a spot available, simply come to the class and let the teacher know that you are catching up a class. The teacher will then pass your name on to us so that we can keep track of your catch-up classes.

With this system, we want to give you more flexibility while making sure our classes remain comfortable and well organised for everyone.

Want to dance more, progress faster and get the most out of your training? Our Hop-In Membership is designed for dancers who want to train several times a week.

The membership is especially worthwhile if you attend two or more classes per week. From two weekly classes onwards, it can already be more cost-effective than booking individual classes – and with three or more, you get even more value while enjoying more time on the dance floor.

With your Hop-In Membership, you can attend as many eligible classes per week as you like.

It is also a great way to broaden your dance skills. Different styles often complement each other: ballet, for example, can improve posture, balance and turning technique that can also benefit your Salsa. Contemporary can develop body awareness and movement quality, while Afro-Cuban styles can deepen your understanding of rhythm and body movement.

More classes. More variety. More progress.

The Hop-In Membership is ideal if you:

  • want to train two or more times per week
  • want to progress faster through regular practice
  • enjoy exploring different dance styles
  • want to develop a broader range of movement skills
  • simply want more opportunities to dance

Beginner:
No previous dance experience is required. You will learn the essential steps, movements and techniques from the ground up while developing coordination, body awareness and an understanding of musicality.

Intermediate:
Some basic dance experience and body awareness are recommended. You will build on your existing skills while developing more complex movements, combinations and techniques.

Not sure whether this is the right level for you? We are happy to help you find the best fit. If a class feels too challenging, you can always switch to a Beginner class.

Advanced:
For experienced dancers with strong body awareness and a solid understanding of dance technique. You are familiar with a variety of steps, figures and combinations and are ready to work on more complex movement, musicality and your individual style.

Advanced dancers may also have the opportunity to be invited to join our show group.

Open Level:
Open to dancers of all levels. These classes focus on areas such as fitness, technique, fundamentals and specific movement skills. Your instructor adapts the pace and level of the class to the participants, making it accessible while still offering opportunities to improve.
