Damián Vergés received his professional dance education in Cuba and has become a well-known dance instructor throughout Zurich, Basel and the surrounding regions.

He teaches a wide range of Cuban and partner dance styles, including Salsa Cubana, Salsa en Pareja, Rueda de Casino, Rumba, Reggaetón, Bachata, Tango, Afro-Cuban Dance, Afro and Cuban Folklore.

Beyond teaching, Damián performs across Switzerland with his own professional dance company "Las Tres Torres" and regularly participates in shows, events and cultural performances.

Elena Laxy has over 20 years of ballet experience, more than 10 years of Salsa training, and 5 years of Hip-Hop experience. Classical ballet laid the foundation for her dance journey and continues to influence her movement, technique and elegance across every style she teaches.

Today, she teaches Ballet, Salsa, Ladies Styling and Zumba. As a certified Zumba Instructor since April 2025, she combines technique, musicality and energy to create inspiring and enjoyable classes for dancers of all levels.

Elena believes that dance is much more than learning choreography. It is about building confidence, expressing emotions and enjoying movement together. Her goal is to create an environment where every student can discover their own style, grow with confidence and become part of the Dance Cuban House family.

Reinier Powell was born and raised in Cuba and graduated in 2000 from the National School of Arts (E.N.A.) in Havana as a professional dancer and dance teacher specialising in Musical Performances.

After moving to Switzerland in 2003, he became a member of the Cinevox Junior Company and later performed at the Lucerne Theatre until 2009. Since then, Reinier has worked as an independent dancer in Switzerland and internationally, performing in television productions, galas, contemporary and neo-classical dance projects, fashion events and congresses.

With his extensive stage experience and versatile background, Reinier brings a strong combination of technique, artistic expression and professional performance to his work as a dancer and teacher.

Ana Belkis Zamora González began her artistic career in Havana, Cuba, in 1978. Her intensive daily training in classical ballet, contemporary and Afro-Cuban dance, Rumba, Body Expression and the techniques of Étienne Decroux enabled her to qualify for the First Level in Performing Arts.

Since moving to Switzerland in 2005, Ana has dedicated herself to sharing the richness of Cuban dance and culture. In 2007, she founded her own specialised dance school, focusing on Cuban dance styles such as Ladies’ Styling, Salsa, Son Cubano, Rumba Cubana and Afro-Cuban dance.

With her deep understanding of the body and movement, Ana combines Cuban tradition with a structured and thoughtful teaching approach. Her goal is to help every dancer develop a natural, authentic and expressive way of moving while connecting with the essence and cultural values of Cuban dance.

Adonis Duvergel Camacho is a professional Cuban dancer with extensive training in classical ballet, contemporary dance, Afro-Cuban folklore and traditional Cuban dances. He began his artistic education at the Vocational School of Arts in Havana, where he trained in music, theatre, ballet, singing and visual arts from 2002 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2014, Adonis performed with various dance and theatre companies in Cuba. He later specialised in ballet, contemporary dance, folklore and Cuban popular dances at the Cabaret Tropicana de Cuba, where he became a professional dancer of the company and performed in high-level productions from 2015 to 2020.

Since moving to Switzerland in 2020, Adonis has continued to share Cuban dance and culture through performances, international projects and teaching. His goal is to connect people through dance and bring the energy, tradition and passion of Cuban culture to every class and performance.

Gina Orsatti’s first movements already began in her mother’s womb, inspired by her parents, who are both dance teachers. She started with classical ballet as a child and later explored Hip-Hop, Jazz/Contemporary, Discofox, Jive, and, in recent years, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba.

For the past three years, Gina has been teaching at various dance schools and regularly sharing her passion through national and international workshops. Her classes are structured and technique-focused, with specific exercises designed to develop body movement, confidence, musicality and personal expression.

For Gina, dance is a way to escape everyday life, connect with yourself and simply enjoy the moment. She loves creating an atmosphere where students can grow, express themselves and, above all, have fun while dancing.

Roberto Batista Herrera, known artistically as Roma Rhymes, is a Cuban dancer, choreographer and instructor with over 18 years of experience. Born in Havana, he discovered his passion for urban dance at the age of 12 after initially pursuing a career in sports.

At 17, Roma moved to Italy, where he began his professional career working with dance schools, companies and international festivals. Since relocating to Switzerland in 2014, he has continued to establish himself as a dancer and instructor and founded his own academy, Withdaflow Academy.

His distinctive style combines Reggaeton, Hip Hop, Afrobeat and Dancehall, creating a powerful and energetic form of expression. Alongside dance, Roma is also developing his career as a musician, bringing movement and music together to create performances filled with energy, emotion and authenticity.

Fabiana Privitelli has been dancing since the age of four, beginning her journey with 12 years of classical ballet. This strong technical foundation shaped her discipline, musicality and appreciation for movement.

She later discovered her passion for urban dance, focusing today on Commercial and Heels, while also exploring House, Afro and Hip-Hop. These styles continue to influence her versatility and individual approach to dance.

For the past year, Fabiana has been teaching and loves creating a positive and supportive environment where everyone can feel confident, empowered and free to express themselves. Through movement, she embraces feminine energy and encourages her students to grow as dancers while, above all, enjoying the experience.

Pedro Lazaro Monteagudo Lara is a professional Cuban dancer specialising in Cuban folklore dance and Afro-Cuban dance, with extensive experience on national and international stages.

His artistic career began in the late 1990s with the comparsa La Sultana. Throughout his career, he has been part of various renowned Cuban dance groups and companies, including JJ Turarte, Afro América, Los Ibellis and the internationally recognised company Yoruba Andabo.

Today, Lazaro shares his extensive knowledge and passion for Cuban folklore through teaching. For him, dance is not only a profession but a fundamental part of his life and a way to preserve and share the tradition and spirit of Cuban culture.
